While in Doha, Rijiju met with Qatar’s current ruler, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to personally deliver condolences from the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rijiju praised the late Father Amir as a visionary statesman who significantly contributed to Qatar’s growth and the strengthening of bilateral ties with India.
