Qatar has issued a strong condemnation against the recent ballistic missile attacks carried out by the Houthi group on the Saudi Arabian cities of Taif and Yanbu. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that these attacks violate Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and contravene international law.
The Ministry emphasized its rejection of any assaults targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, calling for an immediate cessation of such actions. In a statement, Qatar expressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its support for the kingdom’s efforts to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
Doha underscored the interconnected nature of security among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, highlighting that the security of Saudi Arabia is closely linked to that of Qatar and other GCC member countries. This stance reflects Qatar’s commitment to regional stability and its ongoing cooperation with neighboring states to address mutual security concerns.
