INDIANAPOLIS—Carrier (NYSE: CARR), a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is offering recommendations and technologies to protect indoor air quality as wildfire smoke continues to impact North America.
The company urges homeowners to use HVAC recirculation, upgrade to MERV 13 filters, and deploy portable air purifiers with HEPA filters. Carrier’s IAQ portfolio also includes assessments, filtration upgrades, and advanced air purifiers.
“Clean indoor air is critical during wildfire events,” said Nick Arch, Vice President, Residential Solutions. Earlier this year, Carrier donated over $2.5 million in air purifiers to Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts.
